HSS works with leading patient kiosk suppliers to provide CRIS users with integrated touchscreen kiosk solutions, perfect for patient self check-in.
Self-service check-in puts the patient in control and lets them make better use of their time. Kiosks are user friendly as patients are familiar with other self-service and touch screen applications. Other benefits include enhanced privacy for patients and users being able to select their preferred language.
Placed in the radiology department reception area, touch screen kiosks allow patients to identify themselves; to confirm their appointment details; to check themselves in; and to enter or confirm information as required. The entire process can take as little as 12 seconds. Patients can be asked to verify their contact details during check-in to ensure correct addressing of future communications.
Optionally, patients are kept up to date through the provision of information screens which present clinic data in a patient-friendly format. Clinic activity and appointment updates can be displayed, including the average waiting time, the number of clinics running and patients already seen. These views allow clinic staff to manage patient expectations.
HSS currently work with a number of self check-in units from major providers. For more information or to discuss your requirements please email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Or to view the HSS Patient Kiosk brochure for Savience please click here or InTouch please click here.
